General Information and Mandatory Disclosures

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Thomas Thielemann

Zum Kollbach 7, 85238 Petershausen. Phone +49 151 2708 7755. Email info@thielemann.cooking

The controller decides alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, contact details, etc.).

Cookies & Consent

This website uses only technically necessary cookies. No tracking takes place, so no cookie banner is required (details in the Cookies section).

Hosting

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Geneva, Switzerland). An adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists for Switzerland; the level of data protection is deemed adequate. On our behalf, the host processes server log data to provide the website free of technical errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Fonts

This website embeds no external Google Fonts. All fonts are served locally or system fonts are used. When the site is opened, no connection to Google servers is therefore established to load fonts.

Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing

Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal message by email is sufficient for withdrawal. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to Complain to the Competent Supervisory Authority

As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of a breach of data protection law. The competent authority for data protection matters is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. The following link provides a list of data protection officers and their contact details: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where technically feasible.

Right to Information, Correction, Restriction, Deletion

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin, its recipients and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to correction, restriction or deletion of this data. For this and for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time via the contact options listed in the legal notice.

SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL / TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" address bar of your browser and the padlock symbol in the browser bar.

Server Log Files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Page visited on our domain
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

Data transmitted via the contact form, including your contact details, is stored in order to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data is not passed on without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent already given at any time. An informal message by email is sufficient. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

Data transmitted via the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the need to store the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

Newsletter Data

To send our newsletter we require an email address from you. Verification of the email address provided is necessary and you must consent to receiving the newsletter. Additional data is not collected or is provided voluntarily. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.

The data provided when signing up for the newsletter is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent already given at any time. An informal message by email is sufficient, or you can unsubscribe via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the processing already carried out remains unaffected.

Data entered to set up the subscription is deleted upon unsubscribing. If this data has been transmitted to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it remains with us.

Cookies

This website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site and its functions (e.g. submitting the contact form and logging in to the admin area). No cookies are set when merely opening and viewing the website. No analytics, tracking, statistics or marketing cookies are used, and no data is transmitted to third parties for advertising purposes.

Pursuant to Section 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG, no consent is required for the use of technically necessary cookies; a cookie consent banner is therefore not necessary. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a technically error-free and secure provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can restrict or prevent the setting of cookies in your browser at any time; the functionality of the website may be limited as a result.
